I received this book free from the publisher in return for this review.

Winning In Troubled Times covers winning in the areas of work and finances, relationships, negative emotions, and addictive behaviors. Each of these areas is covered in it's various facets with encouraging words, scriptures and explanations.

For instance, in Section Two, Winning in Relationships, chapter topics are Building Friendships, Choosing a Mate, Establishing Marital Bliss, and Raising Successful Children. In Choosing a Mate, there is a checklist of questions to ask yourself to determine if your intended will make a proper mate for you. It should be required reading for every single person out there, because if one honestly answered these questions and acted upon their answers, there would be a lot fewer bad marriages.

I thought the book was easy to read, but filled with practical information for dealing with challenging situations. It was well-balanced and filled with good advice.
